- 4 - Summer Squash - Sliced
- 1/2 Cup Flour
- 2 Tbsp Shortening
- 2 Tbsp Butter

Directions
- Cut squash into slices about 1/2 inch thick.
- Melt the shortening and butter in a frying pan.
- Place squash slices in the pan and simmer over low heat for 8 minutes.
- Flip over and sprinkle with flour, salt and pepper.
- Continue cooking for another 8 minutes until the center of the slices become soft.
